Start your journey at dawn to reach the summit of Tai Mo Shan at 957m for sunrise, seas of clouds and frost in severe winter. Then have traditional Cantonese dims sum breakfast at the local restaurants at Chuen Lung. Finish your day with a barbecue dinner at the hostel, gazing at the stars and chatting through the night.

Public Transportation
The quickest way is to take an urban taxi (red taxi) directly to the Tai Mo Shan Park in Tsuen Wan. (Approximately HK$80 per trip) The cheapest method is to take Bus No. 51 at the footbridge bus stop of Tai Ho Road in Shau Kei Wan (Exit A of Tsuen Wan Railway Station) and alight at the junction of Tai Mo Shan Road and Tsuen Kam Road (near Country Park Management Station). After getting off, walk along Tai Mo Shan Road for about 60 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. After passing through a parking lot, turn right onto the footpath and walk for another 10 minutes to the hostel.
