──Usage Instructions──
To check eSIM availability, dial "*#06#". If a barcode or text showing EID appears, it indicates that your phone supports eSIM functionality.
The first day is counted from the activation date, calculated according to Taiwan local time. For example, if activated on February 1, 2024, at 4:00 PM Taiwan time, the usage period will end on February 5, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
To install the QR code on your phone:
・iOS Phone Settings: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use Mobile Barcode → (scan directly) If using iOS 17 or above, select "Open Photos" to choose the existing QR code image on your phone → Continue → Complete.
Upon Arrival at Destination:
・iOS Phone Settings: Settings → Cellular → Turn on Cellular Data Options → Enable Data Roaming → Complete.
・Android Phone Settings: Settings → Wireless & Networks → Turn on Mobile Network → Enable Data Roaming → Complete.
──After-Sales Return and Exchange Policy──
・This product can be refunded for free before use and before picking up the card at the airport.
・If changing the departure date, the card can be picked up at the airport after placing the order, either before or after the original scheduled departure. The eSIM must be used within 180 days after receiving the email QR code.
・If you have arrived at your destination and are unable to use it due to phone settings/model/connection issues, please connect to local Wi-Fi and contact Cool Travel Card customer service. Refund requests after returning to your home country will not be accepted if customer service is not contacted.
・The return manual processing procedure takes about 3 to 5 business days. Once the refund process begins, the payment bank will be notified for automatic refund, which takes about 7 to 14 business days (excluding holidays). The actual refund time depends on the issuing bank's processing.

Q. Wi-FiルーターにSIMカードを挿入できますか？

Q. 出国日や場所を変更したい場合、返品/交換できますか？
A. 空港でのカード受け取り：実物カードを受け取った後、360日以内に使用できます。設定を遅らせる必要はありません。購入した国の場所が合わない場合、未受取のカードは無料でキャンセルできます。
eSIMはQRコードを取得した後、180日以内に使用する必要があります。購入した国の場所が合わない場合、使用前に無料でキャンセルできます。
Q. 現地の空港でSIMカードを挿入したのに、なぜインターネットに接続できないのですか？
A. フライトモードを2〜5分間オンにした後、モバイルデータを再度オンにしてください。また、挿入した場所が地下室、建物の奥、信号が遮蔽されている場所、または信号が全く受信できない場所でないか確認してください。一部の機器は信号が遮蔽されやすく、同時に多くの旅行者が接続しているため、基地局の反応が遅くなることがあります。空港を出た後に再度テストしてみてください。

Q. なぜ受信状況が悪いのですか？信号が時々途切れますか？
A. ローミングの受信状況は現地の通信基地局のカバレッジに依存します。
通常、建物の地下室、地下鉄の地下、建物の奥、トンネル、周囲に人工建築物がない広い場所、偏僻な場所、高山、湖、海辺などでは受信状況が悪くなります。これはカードの性能とは関係ありません。上記の受信状況が悪い場所を離れた後に再度観察してテストしてください。

- - International fair usage principle: According to the principle of fair usage, telecom companies may limit data usage for users who consume a large amount of data in a short period at their discretion, without prior notice. Please avoid sharing the network (hotspot) with more than one device or watching online videos for extended periods.
- - If the data usage exceeds the specified limit of the product, the connection will be cut off or the speed will be reduced (below 256 kbps) depending on the specifications.
- - Actual signal and connection speed may vary due to factors such as region, terrain, climate, building obstructions, number of users, network systems, or terminal devices. If the local area or phone does not support 4G networks, it will automatically switch to 3G signals. Additionally, different frequency bands supported by the device will result in different internet speeds, and refunds cannot be requested due to signal conditions in a few areas. In cases of natural disasters such as earthquakes or typhoons that cause unstable networks, disconnections, or inability to use the service, refunds or exchanges are not permitted.
