──Usage Instructions──
To check eSIM availability, dial "*#06#". If a barcode or text showing EID appears, it indicates that your phone supports eSIM functionality.
The first day is counted from the activation date, calculated according to Taiwan time. For example, if activated on February 1, 2024, at 4:00 PM Taiwan time, the usage period will end on February 5, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
Installing QR code on mobile:
・iOS phone settings: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use Mobile Barcode → (scan directly) If using iOS 17 or above, select "Open Photos" to choose the QR code from existing phone images → Continue → Complete.
Upon arrival at the travel destination:
・iOS phone settings: Settings → Cellular → Turn on Mobile Data option → Complete.
・Android phone settings: Settings → Wireless & Networks → Turn on Mobile Network → Complete.
──After-Sales Return and Exchange Policy──
・This product can be refunded for free before use and before picking up the card at the airport.
・If changing the departure date, the airport pickup can be done after placing the order and before or after the original scheduled departure. The eSIM must be used within 180 days after receiving the email QR code.
・If you have arrived at your destination and cannot use it due to phone settings/model/connection issues, please connect to local Wi-Fi and contact Cool Travel Card customer service. Refund requests after returning to your home country without contacting customer service will not be accepted.
・The return processing time is approximately 3 to 5 business days. Once the refund process begins, the payment bank will be notified for automatic refund, which takes about 7 to 14 business days (excluding holidays). The actual refund time depends on the issuing bank's processing.

Q. Wi-FiルーターにSIMカードを挿入できますか？

A. 空港でカードを受け取る場合：実物カードを受け取った後、360日以内に使用できます。設定を遅らせる必要はありません。購入した国の場所が合わない場合、カードを受け取る前に無料でキャンセルできます。
eSIMはQRコードを取得した後、180日以内に使用する必要があります。購入した国の場所が合わない場合、使用前に無料でキャンセルできます。
Q. 現地の空港でSIMカードを挿入したのに、なぜインターネットに接続できないのですか？
A. フライトモードを2〜5分間オンにした後、モバイルデータを再度オンにしてください。また、挿入した場所が地下、建物の奥、信号が遮蔽されている場所、または信号が全く受信できない場所でないか確認してください。一部の機器は信号が遮蔽されやすく、同時に多くの旅行者が接続しているため、基地局の反応が遅くなることがあります。空港を離れた後に再度テストしてみてください。

Q. なぜ受信状況が悪いのですか？信号が時々途切れますか？
A. ローミングの受信状況は、現地の通信基地局のカバレッジに依存します。
通常、建物の地下、地下鉄の地下、建物の奥、トンネル、周囲に人工建築物がない広い場所、偏僻な場所、高山、湖、海辺などでは受信状況が悪く、カードの性能とは関係ありません。上記の受信状況が悪い場所を離れた後に再度観察してテストしてください。

- - Please ensure to insert the SIM card only at the "local destination" to avoid premature activation of the SIM card, which may render it unusable.

- - International fair usage principle: According to the principle of fair usage, telecom companies may limit data usage for users who consume a large amount of data in a short period at their discretion, without prior notice. Please avoid sharing the network (hotspot) with more than one device or watching online videos for extended periods.
- - If the data usage exceeds the specified limit of the product, the connection will be cut off or the speed will be reduced (below 256 kbps) depending on the specifications.
- - Actual signal and connection speed may vary due to factors such as region, terrain, climate, building obstructions, number of users, network systems, or terminal devices. If the local area or phone does not support 4G networks, it will automatically switch to 3G signals. Additionally, different frequency bands supported by devices will result in different internet speeds, and refunds cannot be requested due to signal conditions in a few areas. Due to force majeure events such as earthquakes or typhoons, situations like unstable networks, disconnections, or inability to use the service cannot be grounds for refunds or exchanges.
