The river of fireflies on the ground, the river of stars on earth! Atayal’s century-old firefly viewing secret spot will be exclusively opened in 2024!
Experience the Firefly Galaxy in the Bailan Mountains and forests, and learn about the cultural legends of the Atayal people from generation to generation.
Let’s experience the romantic firefly viewing in the Firefly River on a summer night and capture the beautiful moments that are unique to you.

-Activity registration fee-
Adults (NT$500/over 30cm), children (NT$300/children between 90-130cm)
*Due to safety considerations, registration for children under 90 centimeters will not be allowed.
-Activity time-
Monday to Sunday: 19:00-21:00
＊Activity time is subject to environmental considerations, and the on-site staff will mainly arrange the activity sequence during check-in.
＊If you participate in the Hunting Trail Root Hunting and Atayal Firefly Viewing experience at the same time, the activity time will be 19:00-20:00.
【Remark】
1. This activity requires a minimum of 4 people to start a group. If the group cannot be formed due to insufficient number of people or weather factors, refunds will be processed at the on-site counter.
2. Considering daily climate changes, the event time will be arranged by the organizer. Please forgive me.
3. Due to the terrain and safety considerations, guests are required to prepare shoes with anti-skid function for walking.
4. It is recommended to wear long sleeves and long pants to participate in this activity to avoid mosquito bites.
5. This activity will be led by a tribal guide. Do not leave the group and move freely.

・Booking includes: welcome snacks, dinner, breakfast, evening campfire, and free parking.
・Meal locations: all meals are served in the 【Restaurant:Maniq Canteen，The meaning in Atayal language means delicious】.
・Room amenities: two double beds of collective, table lamps, clothes hangers, fans, standing mirrors, bath towels, liquid electric mosquito repellent, earplugs,dehumidifier,electric blanket/bedding (provided during winter season from October to April).
・Private bathroom: wall-mounted shower gel and shampoo provided.
・To support eco-tourism and environmental protection, we do not provide disposable amenities.
・After the order is placed, partial modifications can be made. For cancellations, please follow our cancellation policy.
・There are many insects on the mountain, and they are attracted to light. It's difficult to avoid them while traveling in the forest.
※Public restroom area provides: baby bathtub, small chair, cotton swabs, emergency health cotton, small refrigerator, hot and cold drinking water dispenser, bottle sterilizer, Tescom hair dryer, insulated kettle.
※Public restaurant area provides: child chairs, child utensils.

・Entry time: 14:00, check-in time: 16:00
・Welcome snack time: 14:30-16:00
・On-site experience time: 15:00 (about 1 hour, no waiting will be done after the time limit)
・Dinner time: 17:40-19:30 Tribal style creative meals (the dining time will be adjusted to 2 levels due to the number of people)
・Firefly viewing time: 19:00-21:00 (the scene will be adjusted to 2-3 steps depending on the number of people)
・Evening campfire: 19:30-21:30 (cancelled in case of rain)
・Breakfast time: 08:00-09:30 Chinese and Western buffet
・Check-out time: 11:00
About Merchant
A popular hiking route for hikers is nearby, which includes mountains such as Bird's Beak Mountain, Da Wo Mountain, and Bi Lin Mountain. From these mountains, you can enjoy a distant view of the sacred mountain of the Taoyuan and Sezia tribes, the Dabajian Mountain. Slow down your pace and enjoy the fresh air as you hike around these mountains. In the park, there is a whole cherry blossom forest in February and March, and firefly season in April and May. The park offers an excellent location for watching the sunrise and sea of clouds during the day. At night, you can relax under a sky full of stars with a warm campfire and enjoy sweet cotton candy. Ah~ how comfortable!

[Navigation] WOOYUU [Driving directions] For northbound travelers: Take National Highway 1 to the Hsinchu Interchange (95A) and turn onto Provincial Highway 68. Follow the signs for Zhongfeng Road (Provincial Highway 3) and then take County Road 122 to the destination, which is 50.4 kilometers away. Take the Ailan Access Road on the right-hand side and drive for 7 kilometers to arrive. For southbound travelers: Take National Highway 3 to the Zhulin Interchange (90) and head in the direction of Qionglin. Turn onto Provincial Highway 68 and follow the signs for Zhongfeng Road (Provincial Highway 3) and then take County Road 122 to the destination, which is 50.4 kilometers away. Take the Ailan Access Road on the right-hand side and drive for 7 kilometers to arrive.
