Playte embodies passion for creativity. Its minimalist décor – pale wood furniture and grey stone walls – is elevated by views of the wine cellar and energy of the kitchen. They serve modern European cuisine inspired by Asian flair. The seven-day aged duck is cooked three ways, with date puree, purple carrot, pickled goji berry, an intense duck jus and crispy skin. The cold capellini comes with sweet amaebi prawns, Hokkaido scallops, salmon roe and a tangy soy-wasabi dressing.

Playte is a play with words PLAY and PLATE. Playte serves “bistronomy” cuisine, a concept that was born in Paris, offers quality ingredients with technique and discipline of gourmet cuisine in a warm and friendly environment at reasonable prices. It’s our philosophy to constantly strive our best to try out new combinations of flavours, something familiar yet with elements of surprises.
