The story began in 2002 when of Mr. Hitosugi's relative received 2nd degree burns. Since the skin the body's largest organ, any skin problem can interfere with a person's daily life. Mr. Hitosugi brought together professional physicians and skin-care professionals, along with Europe's and Asia's leading biotech research and development personnel, to actively research and develop professional cosmetic that were suitable for Asian skin.
