Sushi Shimizu is a restaurant with a red lantern. Many sushi restaurants are a little on the intimidating side, but this restaurant has the motto of being a place where anyone can feel at ease and enjoy seasonal fish at reasonable prices. There are 11 seats lined up at the long counter. All the seats can be seen from the kitchen, so the head chef, Shimizu himself, provides hospitable service. It is a homey atmosphere where you can enjoy chatting with the head chef. Small children are also welcome! Children can enjoy their meal while watching the fish of the day swimming in the aquarium.
