The owner, who has been in the business for 27 years, has a motto of cooking with ingredients first. He personally visits the Eastern Market in Osaka to select the best seafood, and ingredients shipped directly from his hometown, Kumamoto, and serves them in a way that brings out the best in their natural flavors. The recommended dish is the spicy pork and mushroom hotpot. The broth is made with 4-5 types of seasonal mushrooms, and is topped off with Yoshino soba noodles from Nara. Other popular dishes include the three kinds of horse sashimi directly from Kumamoto, which are so fresh they could be eaten raw, and the seared Daio chicken. The interior of the restaurant has a Japanese motif. On the first floor, there are counter seats where you can watch the owner use his knife right in front of you, and on the second floor, you can gather around a table for a maximum of 12 people for a girls' or mommy's get-together.
