【Learn Manga Techniques】
Explore Japanese manga’s signature staging, paneling, and composition from a professional perspective. Through engaging examples, discover how to craft emotionally powerful scenes.
【Professional Results—No Prior Experience Needed】
Choose your favorite theme (ninjas, samurai, Japanese cuisine, etc.) and matching manuscript paper. Then follow the step-by-step process—thumbnail sketches, inking with a G-pen, filling blacks, and applying screentones—to complete a page just like a pro.
【Hands-On with Industry Tools】
Use G-pens, screentone sheets, and other industry-standard supplies to create your own artwork. Experienced instructors will guide you at your own pace, so even first-timers can feel confident. By completing a single-page manga, you’ll truly immerse yourself in Japanese manga culture.

- Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before your scheduled start time.
- Your instructor will cover panel layout theory and “composition direction,” demonstrating how different camera angles create dynamic effects and explaining each panel’s characteristics.
- To ensure even first-time manga creators enjoy the session, you may choose a theme from several pre-drawn drafts (e.g., ninja, samurai, Japanese cuisine, courtesan, castle, etc.).
- After a live inking demonstration, you will create your own manga under the instructor’s guidance.
- Finally, you’ll complete one page by learning and practicing inking (BETA) and tone application.
